Calema joins French singer Tayc on new single, “Dis-le moi”

The Calema have just revealed a great collaboration with the popular French singer Tayc, on the single “Dis-le moi”, which was released on June 21. This partnership solidifies the status of Calema in France, where they have achieved many successes, after having established themselves as a successful phenomenon in Portugal.

The duo has scheduled a concert at the Accor Arena in Paris on January 10, 2025. This will be the first time a Lusophone group has played in the largest indoor arena in Paris. This will be the first date of the tour that the Calema have scheduled for the beginning of next year in France and that will go through large rooms, like the Zénith in Strasbourg and Orléans.

Now, join the French Tayc in the single “Dis-le moi”, which promises to conquer the playlists of radio and digital platforms.

Born in Marseille to Cameroonian parents, Tayc is a French singer-songwriter who started his musical career by launching Mixtapes in 2017. His second album, titled “Fleur Froide” (3 platinum discs) was the album that gave him recognition in France when he was nominated for the Francophone Revelation of the Year award at the NRJ Music Awards in 2020, and from which diamond hits such as “Le Temps” or “N’y Pense Plus” came out.

In early May 2024, Tayc released a new album in collaboration with the important French band Dadju titled “Heritage”, and the single “I Love You”, which has already conquered the diamond mark. Tayc’s music can be seen as a cross between urban and pop music mixed with African influences and sounds. Tayc is also a phenomenon on digital platforms: 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify; 3 million followers on Instagram; and 5 million followers on TikTok.

With the single “Emmène-Moi”, Calema continue to conquer the playlists of French radios and digital platforms of this country. The single adds up to over two million streams.

The internationalization work of the duo is still ongoing and has achieved several successes. For this year, the Calema have planned to launch two new EPs that will reaffirm their status. One of the EPs will be dedicated to the Portuguese-speaking public and the other will be in French.
