Calema sell out first day of the Seafood Festival

The Seafood Festival is back in Olhão, and in addition to the seafood, Calema were the main attraction. As always the duo from São Tomé and Príncipe, the brothers Fradique and António, sold out the venue and delighted the many, many fans who attended presence to see them.

The Olhão Festival dedicated to seafood opened on Saturday and many didn’t want to miss out on tasting the many seafood dishes that are served in the riverside area of ​​the city, in addition to the tasty dishes, the first day featured the Calema, and also for that reason, the place was sold out, many were left out, streets were full to at least hear the brothers who continue to dazzle the public with their music and friendliness.

Calema, the dynamic duo from São Tomé and Príncipe

The musical duo composed of brothers António Mendes Ferreira and Fradique Mendes Ferreira, originally from São Tomé and Príncipe but based in Portugal, continue to conquer with their music, a captivating mix of African rhythms, Portuguese melodies and contemporary pop influences, all of which heard on Portuguese stages and around the world.

They collect awards for each song released and reach the top of the charts everywhere, as well as on streaming platforms, the shows are full of fans everywhere they go, winning over the public not only with their music but also with their humility and sympathy.

Their music stands out for its contagious energy, sincere lyrics and fusion of cultures, and on the first day of the festival, everyone was able to sing all of their hits, which achieved both success in Portugal and internationally.
