Bensaude Group has just reached an agreement for the integration of Caloura Hotel Resort into the portfolio of Bensaude Hotels Collection.
A strategic bet that consolidates the group’s hotel presence in the Azores, where it now has six hotel units on the island of São Miguel, two on the island of Terceira and one on the island of Faial.
Bensaude Hotels Collection is also present in the Portuguese capital with the Hotel Açores Lisboa.
The agreement established between the entities Caloura Hotel Resort, S.A. and Bensaude Turismo, SGPS reinforces the commitment of Bensaude Hotels Collection to expand its offer of quality accommodation in the Azores, responding to the growing tourist demand. According to the Regional Statistics Service of the Azores, in the first nine months of the year, the Azores recorded about 3.5 million overnight stays, representing an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period last year.
The Caloura Hotel Resort is located on the south coast of the island of São Miguel, in the bay of Baixa da Areia, in a protected natural area with direct access to the sea and natural pools. It has an outdoor pool, gym, sauna, tennis court, restaurant and 80 accommodation units, including double rooms, family rooms and suites, all with privileged views of the sea.
The group believes that this hotel, with its privileged location and excellent reputation, will be a perfect complement to your portfolio in the Azores.
