Camané returned to recordings and presented to a crowded room, his new work, “Horas Vazias“, a new album of unreleased, which has lyrics that fill the heart, which in the fado singer’s voice become memorable.
Seven years after “Infinito Presente“, “Horas Vazias“, consists of 16 songs, includes classics, unreleased and traditional fado, with production Pedro Moreira, a veteran of jazz and has José Manuel Neto on Portuguese guitar, Carlos Manuel Proença on viola de fado and Carlos Bica on double bass, performed for the first time without the collaboration of José Mário Branco, despite the presence of an unpublished song he wrote for Amália’s poem “Tem Dois Corações”.
The album has lyrics by great names in music, Amália Rodrigues, Amélia Muge, Maria do Rosário Pedreira, Teresa Muge, David Mourão-Ferreira, Fernando Pessoa, João Monge, Jorge Palma, Júlio Dinis, Pedro Abrunhosa, Sérgio Godinho and Vitorino Salomé .
The concert had as guest Ricardo Toscano, who accompanied Camané on the saxophone on the theme “As Vezes Há Silêncio“, the Portuguese fado singer, before ending, thanked the audience that was present for the presentation of the new album and that filled the beautiful room of the Teatro da Trinity.
