Camane and Mario Laginha are not strangers. They’ve had concerts together. From the excellent understanding felt in these sporadic collaborations, the inevitable deepening of this symbiosis has now resulted: “Aqui está-se sossegado” is a new, root-thinking project to brighten up a voice and a piano that discovered accomplices from the first time they filled a stage.
The design of the concerts that configure the project “Aqui está-se sossegado”, will have about two dozen themes, coming out of the traditional fadista canon, Camané’s repertoire and will also include unpublished composed by Mário Laginha who, remember, has already performed a poem by Álvaro de Campos “Ai Margarida”, which is part of one of Camané’s last albums.
