The cultural walk “Mirando – Caminhos com Cultura” to Quinta de Lóios had its 1st edition in September and returns in October, on the 14th, 21st and 28th, always at 10:00 am.
This cultural journey heads once again to Quinta dos Lóios, next to Ribeira das Jardas in Agualva, the place where Dom Domingos Jardo, bishop of Lisbon and chancellor-mor of King Dinis, was born.
This initiative aims, on the one hand, to make known the value of buildings from a historical point of view and the historical-cultural and immaterial heritage spread over generations that is repeated and persists in local habits and customs, and on the other, to raise awareness of population for the preservation of the fauna and flora that are characteristic of that locality.
The Lívio de Morais Culture House, in Mira Sintra, is the starting point for this activity, which will last around 2 hours. Participation is free but requires prior registration.
