You can help choose Jupiter’s moons names

The suggestions can be made through Twitter until April 15.

Scientists at the Carnegie Institution for Science have launched a special contest for space exploration fans to help them name five Jupiter moons. These five moons are among the lot of 12 new satellites on the planet that were recently discovered.

Suggestions for names can be made directly through Twitter, with posts needing to be directed to the @JupiterLunacy page and contain the hashtag #NameJupitersMoons. As a rule, the Mirror says that scientists are looking for “names of entities from Roman or Greek mythology who are descendants or lovers of the god known as Jupiter or Zeus.”

Suggestions for names will be considered until April 15, so you have more than enough time to think about an option and make your mark in the history of space exploration.
