The most mythical works of the Russian composer Tchaikovsky are played, by candlelight, on May 29 and July 8, at Penha Longa Resort, in Sintra, in an intimate setting that includes a ballet performance.
After the huge success of the Candlelight Open Air concerts, Fever announces the new Candlelight Ballet: The Nutcracker by candlelight, which will include some of Tchaikovsky’s best-known works, performed by a String Quartet, on May 29 and July 8, at Penha Longa Resort, in Sintra.
This time, the intimate candlelight concert format, which takes place in idyllic spaces, brings up to the resort’s elegant Crown Room in Sintra some of the most mythical works by this Russian composer, in an intimate candlelit environment, which also includes a ballet performance. Throughout the concert, some of the most famous works by Tchaikovsky ever will be heard, such as the ‘Waltz’ and ‘Swan Dance’ of the ‘Swan Lake’, or the ‘Russian Dance’ and the ‘Dance of the Sugar Fairy’, the ‘Nutcracker’.
With two sessions available, at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, tickets can be purchased on the Fever website or app from € 15.00 per person, which varies depending on the type of ticket selected. The show lasts 60 minutes.
The famous concerts totally dedicated to classical music by candlelight, now bring a new cultural proposal and a totally safe experience for the Portuguese, entirely dedicated to the famous Russian composer.
