Some of the songs that inspired Isabel Stilwell’s book, D.Manuel I, Two Sisters for a King, will be performed by a String Quartet, on July 10, at 9 pm, at the São Vicente de Fora Monastery.
On July 10th, at 9 pm, the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora receives an innovative edition of Candlelight Open Air, an intimate concert by candlelight that has already conquered thousands of Portuguese, with the interpretation of some of the songs that inspired the book by Isabel Stilwell, D.Manuel I, Two Sisters to a King.
The imposing setting of the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora will thus be the stage for the intimate Candlelight concert, performed by a String Quartet, which will also feature the presence of the writer Isabel Stilwell and the reading of some passages from the book during the concert, thus marking the year that celebrates the 500th anniversary of the death of King Manuel I.
The concert starts at 9 pm, with the opening of the doors taking place 30 minutes before the start of the show. Tickets can be purchased on Fever’s website or app from €17.00 per person, which varies depending on the type of ticket selected.
