Come visit Alcoutim, a Portuguese town in the Faro district
The blue of the river framed by the fresh green of the riverside vegetation, the fertile orchards and the vegetable gardens. The dark ocher of the mountains round as pebbles, to which rockrose, holm oaks and some olive trees give light strokes of color. The houses with shale walls, or with the whiteness of lime, of villages lost among mountain ranges. Contrasts of Alcoutim and its municipality of which there is no shortage, in the middle of winter, the pale pink of thousands of almond trees in bloom, the wide spaces where nature and tranquility are found to enjoy the heap of wild flowers or the birds that chirp in the tree branches.
