Belver is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Gavião, located on the right bank of the Tagus River, belonging to the District of Portalegre.

The castle of Belver deserves to be highlighted, having been the first castle built by the Hospitallers, in order to defend the Raian territory of the Tagus valley, and one of the most imposing that the Order built in Portugal. In fact, the landscapes are beautiful, both from the top of the castle and the small village. Here you will find peace of mind and tranquility, in communion with the local history and tradition.
