Cape Verde wins two gold and two bronze medals at the 1st Pan-African Special Olympics Games

Cape Verde has already won two gold and two bronze medals in the 1st Pan-African Special Olympics Games that takes place in Cairo (Egypt), where it also has two fourth places.

In this event that runs from 23 to 31 of the current year, Cape Verde won the first medals this Tuesday, when Cintia Osvaldina Brito collected the gold in the 100 meters, Carla Sofia the bronze, proof in which Tamires Rodrigues had to be content with the fourth place.

This Wednesday, the Cape Verdean delegation in Cairo won another gold medal and another bronze medal, won by athletes Cinta Osvaldina and Carla Sofia, respectively, in the 200 meters, with Tamires Rodrigues in fourth place.

Cape Verde is participating in the first ever Pan-African Special Olympics Games, which takes place from the 23rd to the 31st of the current year, in Cairo (Egypt), with a delegation made up of three athletes, a trainer and a leader, all female.
