Tavira organizes another edition of the “Verão em Tavira” festival to liven up the hot summer nights of residents and visitors with a diverse cultural program, during the month of August and early September. The second concert of the festival, held in a space dedicated to this purpose at Palácio da Galeria, took place last Saturday, August 14th, with the protagonists of Capitão Fausto.

This was one of the most anticipated concerts at the Tavira festival where we can hear “Lentamente“, followed by “Faço As Vontades”, “Mil e Quinze”, “Sempre Bem”, “Semana em Semana”, “Os Dias Contados”, “Certeza” and “Amor, a Nossa Vida”

The next concerts of the festival “Verão em Tavira” are by Carlão, on August 21st, Miramar with Frankie Chavez and Peixe, on the 27th, and The Black Mamba, on the 28th. In September, fado is highlighted with the concerts by Fábia Rebordão, on the 2nd, and by Sara Correia, on the 4th. The festival will be closed by the Portuguese band Amor Electro, on the 5th of September. Check out the full program here!

During this period, handicraft fairs return, in the garden of palm trees, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 6 pm, organized by the associations ASTA, Almadrava and Albacora with the support of the Municipality.

This year’s edition of “Verão em Tavira” aims to ensure regular programming and represents an investment by the municipality in the economy and culture, through the contracting of numerous services and support for artistic projects at local, regional and national levels.
