The artist Carlão and his band gave a concert for the Festival Verão em Tavira at Parque do Palácio
Tavira organizes another edition of the “Verão em Tavira” festival to enliven residents and visitors with hot summer nights with a diverse cultural program, during the month of August and early September.
On Saturday, August 21st, the vocalist and lyricist of contemporary urban music, Carlão, gave a concert at 10 pm, at Parque do Palácio. “A concert aimed not only at the feet, but also at the head, the energy is constant and the delivery is total and detached”.
Accompanied on stage were, as in costume, Paulo Borges on the keyboard, Rui Berton on drums, Nuno Espírito Santo on bass, DJ Glue and the nightingale Bruno Ribeiro, and on a night of total sharing and delivery by the audience by the artists we can hear themes like “Entre o Céu e a Terra”, “Entretenimento”, “Na Batalha”, “Contigo”, “Os Tais”, “Topo do Mundo”, “A Minha Cena”, “Hardcore”, Colarinho Branco”, “Bandida”, “Viver para sempre”, “Na Margem” with the participation of Afonso, Noah, and Alexandre, who participated in the last edition of The Voice Kids Portugal, and the success of radio stations “Assobia para o lado”.
The festival “Verão em Tavira” continues with Miramar with Frankie Chavez and Peixe, on the 27th, and The Black Mamba, on the 28th. In September, fado is highlighted with concerts by Fábia Rebordão, on the 2nd, and by Sara Correia, on the 4th. The festival will be closed by the Portuguese band Amor Electro, on the 5th of September. Check out the full program here!
During this period, he returned to the handicraft fairs, in the garden of palm trees, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 18:00, in an organization of the associations ASTA, Almadrava and Albacora with the support of the Municipality.
This year’s edition of “Verão em Tavira” intends to guarantee the regularity of programming and representation, an investment by the municipality in the economy and culture, through the contracting of numerous services and support for artistic projects at local, regional and national levels.
