Carolina Deslandes voices the second single from the album “A Madrugada Que Eu Esperava”

“Dois Dedos de Testa”, a new single by Carolina Deslandes, is now available on YouTube and tomorrow on digital platforms.

This is the second single from Bárbara Tinoco and Carolina Deslandes’ new album, A Madrugada Que Eu Esperava, which brings together the voices of the revolution and the present.

With edition scheduled for April 25th, Jorge Palma, Sérgio Godinho, Paulo de Carvalho, Luísa Sobral, Filipe Melo, Salvador Sobral, Rita Rocha, Tatanka, Tiago Nogueira, Buba Espinho and Diogo Branco, join the two artists in this feature film duration composed of 17 songs, which more than an album is an ode to freedom, in the year in which the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution is celebrated. The song revealed today, “Dois Dedos de Testa”, is performed by Carolina Deslandes and from today onwards has an official music video on the singer and songwriter’s YouTube.

The album is the result of the musical of the same name, A Madrugada Que Eu Esperava, on stage from February 14th until May 31st, which brings together the two singer-songwriters in authorship and sharing the stage, as main actresses. The 17 edited tracks bring together the 13 themes presented on stage and four original songs, composed exclusively for the musical, but which, with some regret, ended up being left out, as it was impossible to include so much creation in a show lasting an hour and a half and which now come to life in the studio.

The lineup is made up of the musical’s official songs, some in the voice of Bárbara Tinoco and Carolina Deslandes, and others delivered to special guests Sérgio Godinho, Paulo de Carvalho, Jorge Palma, Luísa Sobral, Filipe Melo, Salvador Sobral, Rita Rocha, Tatanka, Tiago Nogueira, Buba Espinho and also Diogo Branco, protagonist in the role of Francisco. The album also includes instrumentals recorded in the studio, as presented on stage by musicians Feodor Bivol (Guitar), Marco Pombinho (Piano), Miguel Casais (Drums), Rui Pedro Pity (Bass), and Sandra Martins (Cello), with the contribution of the guitars of Diogo Clemente and Pedro Mourato.
