In the second concert, in April 2023, I will share the stage with the extraordinary special musicians of the inclusive ensemble Notas de Contacto, as well as presenting the absolute premiere of a work I wrote 20 years ago, which includes poetry of my own, by Sebastião da Gama and Miklós Radnoti. We will hear a rare public presentation of one of the most important pages of concert writing for marimba: the sublime concert of 1993, by the Argentinean Alejandro Viñao (b. 1951), in which I will share the stage with the young maestro Henrique Constância, a brand new talent, which closes this concert with one of the most beautiful pages of Joseph Haydn, the symphony La Passione. – Pedro Carneiro
