Solidarity concert for the “Liga dos Amigos do Hospital de Santo António”

Casa da Música, in Porto, hosts this Wednesday, February 8th, a solidarity concert organized by Colégio Alemão do Porto and which brings together international schools from Porto in a show of support and solidarity with the aim of raising funds for the Liga of the Friends of the Hospital of Santo António.

The event features musical performances by more than 350 students and teachers from several international schools in the city of Porto, namely CLIP – Oporto International School, Lycée Français International Porto, Oporto British School and Colégio Alemão do Porto – DSP.

The solidarity show promises to amaze and surprise the audience, with varied musical numbers, from choirs to soloists, on a night of union, diversity, and social responsibility.

According to the organization, the concert is an opportunity for the international community of Porto to come together and show their support to the local community, while celebrating the diversity and cultural exchange that are intrinsic values of the international school experience.

“In addition to actively contributing to this secular institution, which is so indispensable for the city, we want this concert to be a celebration of the diversity and spirit of cooperation of the international community of Greater Porto. We are very excited to be able to bring together students, parents, teachers, and the whole community in favor of this mission”, reinforces Mónica Reis, Deputy Director of Colégio Alemão.

Tickets for the show can be purchased at each of the participating schools and on the day of the concert at Casa da Música and cost €15, which goes to the Liga de Amigos do Hospital de Santo António.

The concert begins at 7:30 pm next Wednesday, February 8th.
