Casa Relvas marks 40 years of Xutos & Pontapés with a limited edition of the Herdade São Miguel range.
Casa Relvas presents the limited edition ‘Xutos & Pontapés Special Edition 40 Years 1979 – 2019’, a wine full of rhythm, which reinforces a 10-year partnership with the Portuguese band and marks the fortieth anniversary of rock ‘monsters’ national. Now, for Xutos fans, toasting these 40 years of your favourite band has a special flavour.
A decade after the first partnership between the musicians and the wine producer, in 2009, to commemorate the band’s 30 years, at the time still in a private register with only 500 bottles, Casa Relvas presents the new Herdade São Miguel, who promises to revive many memories of several generations.
“Like the elements of the most cherished rock band in the country, this wine has a strong character, and it is a pleasure for us to renew this partnership that has enabled us to make this tribute to the Xutos since 2009“, says Alexandre Relvas.
Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional were chosen to give birth to this nectar of the ‘gods’ (of the national rock) that is characterized by a complex aroma of ripe red fruits, white flowers and spices, well integrated with notes of vanilla.
The Herdade São Miguel ‘Xutos & Pontapés Special Edition 40 Years 1979 – 2019’, is available for sale online – www.xutos40anos.com – and in the country through January 25, date of the first concert, which sold out. This special edition of Casa Relvas is limited, there are four thousand bottles for many thousands of fans. So it will be hard if you let this opportunity run out.
