Casino Espinho with free entry for laughter and laughter
from May to July, comedy shows every Wednesday
At Casino Espinho, Wednesdays in May, June and July will be full of laughter and tears, with “The Comedy Club” at 10 pm. With one Portuguese comedian per week, this event will have free entry and is suitable for anyone who can’t do without a good dose of comedy.
JEL, Fernando Rocha, Joel Ricardo Santos, Eduardo Madeira, Tiago Almeida, Tochas, Aldo Lima, Beatriz Gosto and Carlos Vidal. These are just some of the names that will appear on the Casino Espinho stage during these three months.
On May 1st, his characteristic JEL humour will bring laughter, as is already his hallmark, making this night in Norte unforgettable. A talented artist, who is a musician, comedian, director or even producer and who has entertained the public in so many shows and recordings, is, without a doubt, one of the most versatile, cherished and recognized by the Portuguese public.
Fernando Rocha, an excellent comedian, joke teller, stand-up comedian, actor, presenter, author and also winner of the television program “Ri-te Ri-te”, will come to liven up the night of May 8th. After countless CDs, DVDs and different types of performances, he will head to Casino Espinho for the first time for a magnificent show of stand-up comedy, jokes and storytelling, to entertain the entire audience.
For the third show The Comedy Club, Casino Espinho will welcome Joel Ricardo Santos, on May 15th. A musician since he was 6 years old, he took to the stage as a comedian in 2011, and since then he has been a staple of national comedy, due to the rhythm and energy that identify him. Joel also made some television appearances in the TVI competition ‘Vai ou Racha’.
On the 22nd, laughter will be served in “Tour Mundial”, by Eduardo Madeira, an intoxicating comedy solo. This new show is the artist’s true tour, covering the four corners of the globe, which recalls the 80s and 90s in contrast to today, the trips and unusual episodes experienced by the comedian and a handful of new bizarre and unreasonable songs. In addition to many other surprises, as usual, the public will be part of the show.
On the last Wednesday of the month, the 29th, Tiago Almeida will be the artist who will fill the Salão Atlântico with good spirits in a night of stand-up comedy. The path to comedy came after discovering that he hated working in Law, which led him to start taking the stage at stand-up nights. Currently, he only wears the toga to take photos with guests on his podcast and YouTube program “Prisão Preventiva”, a mix of Law and humour. He also participates in the program “Para mim, Descabido”, on Mega Hits radio.
Known for its wide range of entertainment options, Casino Espinho, in May, will be the ideal place for a fun-filled season, where renowned names in national humour will guarantee moments of laughter and laughter every week.
