The Black and Silver Room of Casino Estoril sold out to honor Natália Correia, as part of her 100th anniversary. The show “Natália Is When a Woman Wants” brought together a cast of 12 female voices who performed poems set to music by Renato Júnior.
The audience applauded a concert that offered different interpretative styles, being entirely based on the poetry of Natália Correia, unique in its aesthetics, where Women take center stage.
Highlighted were Ana Bacalhau “Rosto Invisível”, Áurea “Sete Luas”, Amélia Muge “Cânticos de Um Pais”, Elisa Rodrigues “Encontro”, Katia Guerreiro “Creio”, Mafalda Veiga “A Defesa do Poeta”, Patrícia Antunes and Patrícia Silveira “Livro dos Amantes”, Maria João “Queixa das Almas Jovens Censuradas”, Rita Redshoes “Autogenese”, Sofia Escobar “Superação”, Viviane “Passageiro da Noite”.
“Natália Is When a Woman Wants” also surprised with a stage design inspired by the charismatic bar “Botequim,” in the Graça neighbourhood of Lisbon, which gathered, in the 1970s and 1980s, some of the most relevant personalities of Portuguese arts and literature.
