Casino Lisboa reopens the Auditorium of the Oceans for the return of “A peça que dá para torto”

As part of the 3rd phase of deflation planned by the Government, in order to contain Covid-19, which allows the resumption of a series of cultural activities, Casino Lisboa reopens, this Tuesday, April 20, at 7:45 pm, the Auditorium of the Oceans, thus restarting the cycle of representations of “A peça que dá para torto”.

In compliance with the measures of the most recent Council of Ministers held on the 15th, Estoril Sol keeps its casinos closed having decided to open, exclusively, the Auditorium of the Oceans, after authorization by SRIJ – Game Regulation and Inspection Service Inspection Area of Lisbon Games. In close cooperation with the national authorities, Estoril Sol is available to change procedures or adopt new measures that are justified.

With a single price of €7 and no place booked, the solidarity rehearsal, scheduled for this Tuesday, April 20, at 7:45 pm, which marks the return to the stage of “A peça que dá para torto”, more than one year after its forced interruption, it fully reverts to A Casa do Artista.

Inaugurated in 1999, Casa do Artista is a project thought and created to be broad: a House of Residence for Artists and other workers in the cultural sector, a School/Academy, a space with Catering/Bar, a Library, an Exhibition Space, a Theater and still have an outdoor environment susceptible to be enhanced with outdoor activities. Its primary mission is to support and dignify all those who exercised, or still exercise, functions related to the activity of the shows, aiming to develop activities related to culture, while maintaining social support for members.

Success interrupted in 2020, “A peça que dá para torto” returns to Casino Lisboa’s Ocean Auditorium. Tickets already purchased for sessions previously scheduled for the Auditorium of the Oceans are NOT valid and should be exchanged at the respective place of purchase, subject to availability of seats. Whoever makes the switch for the sessions between April 21st and May 1st will be offered the program of the play, on the scheduled day.
