Católica-Lisbon welcomes 320 new students for the 1st day of classes

The Catholic Lisbon School of Business & Economics welcomes tomorrow, September 1, new undergraduate students for their first day of classes at the Portuguese Catholic University in Lisbon.

There are 320 national and international students who will be received tomorrow by Dean Filipe Santos in the welcome session. A CATÓLICA-LISBON is the first faculty to start with the academic year 2021/2022.

New CATÓLICA-LISBON students were admitted with an entry average of 16.73, which is remarkable in a year where national math A exam scores were the lowest in the last decade. It is a class with exceptional quality, with more than 50 students with entry grades above 18.

Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON, says: “It is an honor to be able to count on the trust of future leaders who believe in the value and impact potential of a career in Economics and Management. This generation of young people recognizes the scientific rigor, the quality of education and the high employability that has been the hallmark of CATÓLICA-LISBON since it pioneered the teaching of a degree in Management in Portugal. It is also an honor to see more and more international students choosing CATÓLICA-LISBON for their undergraduate teaching, similarly to the international success of our Master’s programs where we already have more than 2/3 of international students”.

A CATÓLICA-LISBON is one of the best management schools in the world in degree programs, scientific research and executive training, and one of the most international in terms of its teaching staff and the experience it provides to its students.
