CCB offers special programming and access conditions for young people up to 25 years old

The CCB Card, which offers free admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art for one year and a 30% discount on shows produced by the Cultural Center of Belém, is now free for young people up to 25 years.

With this measure the Fundação Centro Cultural de Belém (FCCB) intends to increase this segment of the public and enhance their access to the cultural activity of the CCB, both in the field of performing arts and thought, as well as visual arts.

Next year we will present a very diverse and eclectic program, which we believe will also reach the younger audience, from the show Sol em Gémeos by Filipe Sambado & Luca Argel in May to the exhibition 31 Mulheres. An exhibition by Peggy Guggenheim, held between 26 February and 15 June at MAC/CCB, co-curated by Patricia Mayayo and Nuria Enguita, highlights Madalena Reis, FCCB’s Administrator.

As a part of this pass, the young CCB Card holders will be able to attend, in February (21 and 22), the return of the Ballet de Lorraine to the Grand Auditorium of the CCB, 30 years after its last performance in the same space. Together with the National Choreographic Center will present two commissions: A Folia, by the Portuguese choreographer Marco da Silva Ferreira, and Static Shot, by Maude Le Pladec.

The CCB’s Museum of Contemporary Art also hosts the exhibition Chantal Akermann. Travelling, curated by Laurence Rassel, which can be visited between 17 April and 7 September. The week of 11 to 16 February is reserved for discussing Climate Activism within the framework of the Museum’s micro-conference program, with Maria Gil and Bruno Alexandre & Guest | Teatro do Silêncio.

“The CCB’s ticketing analysis shows us that we must continue to attract the younger audience. This is achieved through programming that meets their artistic interests, but also by creating conditions for democratization in access to culture”, says Delfim Sardo, FCCB Administrator.

In addition to the reduction of the price of tickets in productions and co-productions CCB and unlimited admission to the Museum of Contemporary Art, the loyalty card offers discounts on activities of the Educational Service and Mediation of the Museum, namely courses of arts, Invitations to exclusive actions, such as guided tours and conversations with curators, the offer of a ticket for a show of your choice on the cardholder’s birthday, free parking on show days and discounts in CCB stores and catering spaces.

Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, ticket place of sale, price, and availability.
