Celebrate Father’s Day with a special Braga-style dinner

Father’s Day is approaching, a special occasion to celebrate one of the figures who inspires, supports and marks a family. More than just a gift, this date invites moments of sharing and conviviality and, with this in mind, the restaurants at the Hotel INNSiDE by Meliá Braga Centro and the Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa have prepared an unforgettable evening, where entertainment and good cuisine come together in a unique dinner.
On March 19th, the Convertidas Restaurant at the INNSiDE by Meliá Braga Centro Hotel will have a festive atmosphere, with music and lots of entertainment. The meal will begin with a starter of Octopus and Pomegranate Carpaccio, followed by the main course, Fillet of John Dory with truffle purée and “vierge” sauce or Entrecôte with rice and beans, and, for dessert, Pudim de abade de priscos, pineapple macerated with lime and ginger. For the price of €42 per person, it also includes house wines, other drinks and coffee.
At the El Olivo Restaurant, at the Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa, a buffet of starters will be presented, including a variety of salads, a smoked meats board, a cheese board, a seafood platter, rojõezinhos, meatballs and snacks. Then, a cabbage soup will be served and also, as main dishes, grilled cod with precious pearls of the land in salt and traditional oven-baked veal with garlic greens and potatoes.
To finish, there will be a sweet buffet with Egg Pudding and Abade de Priscos, Orange Pie, Burnt Cream, Rice Pudding with Cinnamon, Delicious Chocolate Cake, Almond Pie, Pear in Honey and Orange and Sliced Fruit.
This menu, costing €40 per person, will also include a selection of wines, such as Herdade Grande Branco and Trava Línguas Tinto and Sensorial Verde, and the offer of house drinks to all parents who are accompanied by their children.
