MAR Shopping centers support cinema and culture with ticket offer
The doors are open to watch the best films of the year and the latest news from the seventh art.
To support cinema and promote culture, the two shopping centers of Ingka Centers will offer 1,300 cinema tickets per day at MAR Shopping Algarve and MAR Shopping Matosinhos, in a campaign that runs from May 24 to June 4.
Cinema is one of the activities whose return was most eagerly awaited. Through this initiative it will be possible to promote culture among all visitors with the possibility of watching the films being shown at NOS Cinemas. From May 24th to June 4th and from Monday to Friday (weekends excluded), MAR Shopping Algarve will offer 500 tickets per day and MAR Shopping Matosinhos 800 tickets per day.
To collect your ticket, visitors to each shopping center need only present their Citizen Card or Identity Card at the ticket offices of the cinemas at MAR Shopping Algarve and MAR Shopping Matosinhos. A maximum limit of 1 ticket per day, per person, and 10 tickets per group can be raised. Tickets will be awarded according to the order of arrival, until the daily limit of available tickets at each shopping center is reached.
For Ana Antunes, director general of MAR Shopping Algarve, «this initiative appears as a way to promote the return to one of the most popular arts and appreciated by our visitors, the cinema», she mentions. For the director general of MAR Shopping Matosinhos, Sandra Monteiro, it is important to note that «support for culture remains an important objective of Ingka Centers in its shopping centers and we intend to continue to provide and offer this type of experience to our visitors».
With these tickets, cinema lovers can watch any of the films on display, with the exception of sessions with IMAX® technology, previews or private sessions. The campaign, which aims to draw people back to the fantastic world of the big screen, also does not include the upgrade to 3D, 3D glasses, VIP seats or “Love Seats”.
