Cepsa has just signed a partnership with Glovo, an application that allows you to buy, collect and deliver any product within the same city, at any time of the day, products available at Depaso stores, present in the brand’s Service Stations. In Portugal, there are 180 references that can be ordered, including basic food, hygiene and cleaning products.
The partnership, born in Spain during confinement, will materialize in Portugal in the cities of Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and Faro, starting with five stores, which will reach 14 by the end of the year.
Cepsa has already implemented different preventive measures in order to guarantee the hygiene and safety of professionals and customers, such as the installation of screens in the box area, the signaling of the safety distance with adhesives, the use of gel and gloves and the availability of all the necessary PPE’s. In addition, all products are previously disinfected and the transport bags will always be closed to avoid product exposure during delivery.
Likewise, Glovo allows contactless deliveries, in which it is not necessary to sign the order receipt and the customer can also request that the courier leave the order at their door.
Belén Mateo, director of Franchise and Direct Management of Cepsa’s Service Stations, says: “Our vocation means that we are always looking for new ways to approach our customers and adapt to their needs. For this reason, we reinforced this alliance with Glovo, in order to make our non-oil offer available to the customer, in an innovative, fast, comfortable and safe way, an offer made up of a wide variety of essential products”.
For his part, Diego Nouet, general director of Glovo in the Iberian Peninsula, highlights: “Incorporating this wide network of Service Stations in our app is a big step for us, since it allows us to increase the store offer so that our customers can users get what they need at home as quickly as possible. In addition, the measures developed thanks to our technological platform are an important boost for both consumers and businesses, who can operate with the necessary security”.
Customers will be able to find the Cepsa Service Station with delivery to their home, closest to them, in the Glovo application, as well as check on the Cepsa website if the establishment that most interests them offers this service.
