
Champions League final will be played in Lisbon
UEFA unveiled the rules for the remaining games in the Champions League final on Tuesday.
In the statement issued by the institution that oversees European football, it was confirmed that the Champions League final, which will take place in Lisbon in August, will take place at the Estádio da Luz.
UEFA also advances that the games for the round of 16 of the maximum club competition will take place in the stadiums of the respective clubs or in a place to be determined by the organization, as it had been advanced yesterday.
The Champions League final, scheduled for August 23, will then take place at Benfica’s stronghold, with the remaining games – quarters and semi-finals – also going through the Alvalade stadium.
In the same statement, UEFA also ratified the rule already applied to national championships where each club will be entitled to make five substitutions per match.
