Chef Filipe Ramalho takes Alentejo flavors to Rio Gastronomia 2019

Filipe Ramalho, Chef of the Basilii restaurant at the Torre de Palma Wine Hotel, will head to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the 9th edition of Rio Gastronomia 2019, one of the largest gastronomic events in Brazil.

In a delicate symphony full of flavors, Chef Filipe Ramalho will surprise you with his show-cooking, inspired by its Alentejo origin and essence, highlighting the “Alentejana Pozo and Coriander Açorda with Codfish Loin Marinated in Alicante Bouschet” and “Arroz” Doce ”, signature dishes from the Torre de Palma Wine Hotel’s Basilii Restaurant. On August 22, at Rio Gastronomia 2019, Chef Filipe Ramalho promises a memorable moment with delicious Alentejo experiences to visitors.

Filipe Ramalho joins José Avillez in the adventure of being the two Portuguese chefs to represent and make known the best of Portuguese cuisine in this great event.

The 9th edition of Rio Gastronomia started on August 16th and will run until August 25th, at Mauá Pier, right in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.
