Chico da Tina summons all his friends, fans, admirers, and other curious people for an unprecedented concert that will mark his 4 years of career, in what will also be his absolute debut in his hometown – Viana do Castelo.
The event will take place at the Cultural Center and both old and new hits are promised, as well as surprise guests who will make the night of November 25th a Saturday to never forget. Tickets are already on sale at BOL.
Chico da Tina (or Francisco da Concertina, Viana do Castelo, 1996) is a famous Portuguese artist and troubadour, who began to gain name and notoriety in the streets when he appeared at parties and gatherings always accompanied by the aforementioned instrument (concertina). In 2019, he released the single Põe-te Fino on Youtube, a trap (with concertina and castanets) included in the Trapalhadas EP, which quickly went viral and has millions of views. In the same year, Chico da Tina released the album Minho Trapstar, a record with songs full of critical and caricatured lyrics that, combined with his image, result in an unprecedented combination of trap, concertina, and regional slang, combining tradition and modernity like few others. Minho Trapstar, and Romarias or Freicken are some of the themes included in this work.
The most representative and original Portuguese trap star later edited songs like Viana Vice City (2020), Todo o Dia (Prod. Lincoln & XB$), F*CK FOREX (Prod. Sahbeats & Palma) feat eddy0, gathered on the album E Agora Como É Que É (2021).
On the 25th of November, the Cultural Center of Viana do Castelo will host what is the absolute debut of Chico da Tina in his hometown and the great celebration of his 4 years of career.
