Cian Ducrot Releases New Single, “Shalalala”

new Album, “Little Dreaming,” Out July 11

Following the huge success of his debut album, “Victory,” which reached #1 in the UK and Ireland, Cian Ducrot is gearing up to return to the top of the charts with his sophomore album, “Little Dreaming,” which is out July 11 and is available to pre-save now.

The musician continues to build anticipation for the record with the release of the new single, “Shalalala.”

Shalalala” finds Cian exploring the chaos and turmoil of the world we live in, but also finding a ray of optimism in the communities and personal relationships we share. With soaring vocals, powerful percussion, and gospel-inspired choruses, the song carries a wave of energy that reinforces his belief that we must remain hopeful, even in difficult times.

The song was written by Cian in collaboration with Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand (RAYE), Bill Maybury (James Bay) and Theo Hutchcraft (Calvin Harris, Måneskin). The song was produced by Cian and Anton Göransson, with the two also providing vocals alongside Isabella Sjöstrand.

Cian says: “This song is about hope and solidarity at a time when the world needs it most. It’s about holding friends, loved ones and even strangers close, reminding us that we are all part of the same world, the same community, the same purpose. Love is the only answer, and beauty is where we look for it. The odds of us being born are estimated at 1 in 400 billion, and on top of that, we are all here at the same time… so let’s come together and sing ‘Shalalala’ together.”

Shalalala” joins recent single “Who’s Making You Feel It” and the album’s title track. The album is a cohesive and beautiful work that invites listeners to join Cian on a journey of self-discovery. Created in collaboration with a trusted group of artists, the album features a stunning sound inspired by the 70s and 80s – with influences from legends such as Elton John, Michael Jackson and Queen – while revealing the artist’s soul through honest and profound lyrics.

“Little Dreaming” promises to add more milestones to an already accomplished career. In addition to reaching #1 on the sales and streaming charts with his debut album, Cian has already accumulated over 1.4 billion streams and, earlier this year, won a Grammy in the category of Best R&B Song, as co-writer of SZA’s global hit, “Saturn”.

Cian Ducrot performed in Portugal on December 6, 2024, at LAV — Lisboa Ao Vivo and the following day at the Authentica Festival, which took place at Forum Braga. These performances marked the musician’s debut on Portuguese soil and won over the local public, further solidifying his international presence.
