Cine-Teatro Turim from February 21st to May 9th
Between February 21st and May 9th, the Cine-Teatro Turim in Benfica (Lisbon) will host the first stage of the Cidade Escura cycle, an artistic curation that gives a stage to alternative Portuguese music talent.
In a partnership between the Benfica Parish Council and the Azáfama agency, one Friday a month, the recently opened stage of the Cine-Teatro Turim, in Largo da Igreja de Benfica (Lisbon), welcomes the sounds of the national alternative music scene. , celebrating, in an intimate atmosphere, the creativity, diversity and depth of Portuguese music.
Cidade Escura has a program that ranges from the most introspective to the experimental, and each night offers a space for communion, where established and emerging artists of alternative music invite us to rediscover the city of Lisbon in a new light.
After a cycle opening with a packed house to see Pedro Puppe (OIOAI) in January, Dark City will receive SALLIM (February 21), Flak (March 7), Éme (April 4) and A Sul (May 9). ).
