Cláudia Pascoal releases two new songs from “!!”
his new album released on May 19th
They are like Side A and Side B of the same theme. The light side and the dark side of the same love. That’s why “Lugar I” and “Lugar II”, both with lyrics and music by Cláudia Pascoal, are edited together and are available on all digital platforms.
“Lugar I is the first love song I wrote. Lugar II is the first song I write about giving up on that love. I don’t like to express myself in songs about my frustrations in love, so I consider these two songs a rarity in my short stay in music. And even though I don’t like to cry for love, that’s the only way I knew it was true. So here is one of my most genuine and transparent portraits. I don’t think you’ll see him again anytime soon. Not because I don’t want to love again, but because I really don’t like to suffer for goodwill”, confesses Cláudia Pascoal.
The themes now published will be part of “!!”, Cláudia Pascoal’s second album, which will be digitally released on May 19th. The physical edition, on vinyl, is expected to hit stores on May 26.
Cláudia Pascoal presents her new album live on the 24th of May at Teatro Maria Matos, in Lisbon and on the 2nd of June at the Hard Club, in Porto.
