Club Makumba is preparing to release its second full-length at the beginning of 2024, which will be presented live, first-hand, in five special shows in Porto, Estarreja, Lisbon, Leiria and Coimbra.
With their eponymous debut album, released in 2022, the band toured the country, visiting major festivals such as FMM Sines, NOS Alive or Vodafone Paredes de Coura, also marking the beginning of their internationalization at WOMEX, EUROSONIC and the Das Fest and Jazz Sous Les Pommiers festivals. Now, Tó Trips, João Doce, Gonçalo Prazeres and Gonçalo Leonardo are preparing to take their second album on tour on national and international stages.

“Maragato” is the first advance song from the new album, presented by Club Makumba as a song without time, without territories or barriers – which transports us both to a hot night in the tropics and to a large metropolis.
