Coachella festival postponed again in the USA

This is the third consecutive postponement of the event since the start of the pandemic. The festival takes place every year for two weekends in April, in the Californian desert, in Indio, California.

In 2020, it was initially postponed to October, and then to April this year. The organization has not yet decided whether to propose new dates for the 2021 edition.

The festival, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019, welcomes hundreds of thousands of spectators from various countries, some of whom have been disproportionately affected by the covid-19 pandemic.

Also last week, the Glastonbury festival in the United Kingdom was canceled, for the second year in a row, due to covid-19.
