Começa amanhã o maior festival de verão de Portimão: Mar Me Quer 2025

Tomorrow, August 13th, Portimão’s seafront hosts the start of another edition of Mar Me Quer, for three days of music, culture, and a renewed commitment to inclusion and sustainability. Tickets for the first few days are nearly sold out, but tickets are still available at the usual venues.

With a lineup featuring some of the most acclaimed names in Portuguese and Lusophone music, Mar Me Quer kicks off tomorrow with performances by I Love Baile Funk (8:30 pm), Dillaz (10 pm), and the brothers´ duo,
Calema (11:30 pm), who return to Portimão for a show that promises to warm everyone’s hearts.

In the following days, the public will be able to enjoy performances by Bispo, Da Weasel, Plutônio, Soraia Ramos, Deejay Rifox, and Insert Coin, among many others.

This year, Mar Me Quer debuts the Rota das Experiências (Experience Route), a route through sensory spaces hosted by local institutions, with activities such as painting workshops, tactile sculpture, and olfactory experiences, promoting accessibility and integration. The partnership with ColorADD will make the venue more user-friendly for people with colour blindness, reinforcing the event’s inclusive mission.

The environmental aspect also remains central, with the venue’s decorations made from recycled materials collected at sea, raising awareness about ocean pollution.

“This will be our largest edition to date. We expect around 10,000 people per day, in a true summer atmosphere that combines music, art, sustainability, and inclusion. Portimão deserves a festival of this magnitude, and we are ready to provide three nights that will remain in everyone’s memory,” says André Sardet, artistic director of Mar Me Quer.

Doors open daily at 6:00 PM and close at 1:30 AM. Those who want to avoid traffic can opt for the
Vai e Vem – Portimão Urban Circuit or free parking at the Fair and Exhibition Park, a 10-minute walk from the venue.
