The Center for Iberian Studies promotes the fourth edition of the Meetings “Image and Territory: Photography without Borders”, from today, April 29, to May 1, in online and semi-presential format.
As part of the “Transversalities – Photography without Borders” project, these meetings result from the CEI‘s active involvement in territorial cooperation and its commitment to low-density territories, aiming, through Image, to boost cooperation and the inclusion of territories, breaking with exclusion and invisibility to which vast regions of the country and the world are bound.
The Meetings combine several activities around the theme of Photography and Territory, namely Exhibitions, Debates, Exhibitions and Publications, structured according to themes such as Territory, Art and Photography, Society, Times of pandemic, Transversalities (Exhibition of Awarded Authors), Travel and City
In addition to the webinars, which will count with the qualified participation of more than thirty participants, the exhibitions “Rumors of the World: People, Places, Other Looks” are inaugurated in the Cloisters of the Palace of Culture of Guarda, on May 1, at 11 am; and “Transversalidades – Fotografia sem Fronteiras 2020“, at the Art Gallery of the Municipal Theater of Guarda, on May 1, at 11:30 am.
This initiative has as partners Fujifilm and Fotoclube da Guarda. More info here.
