Comic Con Portugal brings the Cosplay Experience to UBBO
and Portugal Travel Center takes you to Comic Con Portugal
Pop Culture has no age or location limits, and one of the objectives of Comic Con Portugal is to bring this passion to the entire country. During January, the public will be able to dive into the world of Cosplay at UBBO, in Amadora.
Cosplay is a form of artistic expression that goes beyond the simple interpretation of characters, being a process of creation and dedication in elaborating costumes and props. Between January 13th and 28th, visitors to UBBO in Amadora can count on the exhibition of various facts, lectures, demonstrations, workshops and many other surprises.
In the shopping centre, during the two weeks, there will be an exhibition of 10 Cosplay costumes and props, as well as a photography exhibition. Last weekend, on the 27th and 28th of January in the central square, an event will take place with workshops, talks, performances, international attractions and the presence of 15 cosplayers. Also on the last day, Sunday, there will be a parade and competition open to the public, with prizes. The host of the event will be Angélica Elfic, curator of the Cosplay area at Comic Con Portugal.
The initiative has partners from Aniplay, Silver Blade Academy, Instituto de Magia Português and The Hood space, at UBBO. This initiative aims to provide a complete experience for Cosplay lovers and, at the same time, make this art known to the general public.
Comic Con Portugal has teamed up with Portugal Travel Center to offer exclusive packages to those coming to Exponor in March. In addition to the ticket, the public can choose different combinations to make the entire experience of going to the Biggest Iberian Pop Culture Event as easy as possible.
Packages cover daily and weekend options, for individuals or the whole family, and include different combinations of accommodation, transport, experiences and transfers.
