The Municipality of Moita marks the beginning of 2023 with a concert by Orquestra Baía, on the 7th of January, at 4 pm, at the José Manuel Figueiredo Cultural Forum, in Baixa da Banheira.
Orquestra Baía was created in the Municipality of Barreiro in February 2018, with a structure in the style of a Big Band, composed of nineteen musicians and four vocalists, it has been promoting light Portuguese music, in the interpretation of themes by well-known national composers with arrangement for Orchestra.
In its concerts, in addition to promoting light Portuguese music, it has also been revisiting classics of international success, with the interpretation of several classics from different musical genres, ranging from pop to rock, passing through jazz, Latin and others. They always seek to adapt each concert to the listening public, in a constant search for the development of differentiating and unique events and shows.
