In a New Year’s Concert, the Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra will perform, on the 8th of January, at 6 pm, in the Salão Preto e Prata at Casino Estoril. The traditional concert, which has already become special for different generations, will have as guests Cecília Rodrigues (soprano) and Luís Rodrigues (baritone) and will also count on the participation of the Rodrigues, a family of musicians. The conductor will be Nikolay Lalov.
The Cascais and Oeiras Chamber Orchestra celebrates the beginning of each year with a varied repertoire that works as a link between the different works presented, bringing dynamics to a unique show.
In 2023, the chosen theme is “Music and Family Life“ or the “Family of Musicians”. As always, there will be surprises, good cheer, and, of course, the music of composers Berlioz, Chopin, Bizet, Lehar, and the Strauss family.
