The last concert of Parov Stelar’s Theater Tour 2024 was in Lisbon, and what a concert, electrifying, always with high levels of energy and rhythm, the difficult part was not being on your feet dancing a fantastic night.
After having played at Super Bock Super Rock, they took to the stage at Campo Pequeno, to once again give an electrifying concert, Marcus Füreder, known as Parov Stelar, Austrian musician, composer, producer, DJ and designer, took his style to Lisbon known as electro swing, which combines brass, rod trombone, saxophone and trumpet, guitars and drums, and two other fantastic voices for a concert where it is impossible not to dance and sing to the frenetic rhythm of its electronic music to which it combines swing, jazz and bluegrass.
This concert, which has the signature Everything is New, we can hear his best-known songs such as “Booty Swing”, “Catgroove”, “All Night”, “Grandpa’s Groove”, “The Invisible Girl”, “Voodoo Sonic” or “Jimmy’s Gang” but also the debut of a new song.
Parov Stelar & Band have performed more than 1000 live shows around the world, including sold-out shows at the PlayStation Theater in New York, Alexandra Palace in London and Zenith in Paris, having played at major festivals such as NOS Alive, Coachella, Glastonbury, Sziget, Lollapalooza, among others.
Born on November 27, 1974, in Linz, Austria, Füreder began producing and editing music in 2000, released his first maxi singles under the name Plasma and the pseudonym Cash Candy, in 2003, founded the publishing company Etage Noir Recordings and helped launch the careers of other electro swing artists such as Elektro Guzzi and Yasmine.
Parov Stelar is one of the most influential and successful figures in the electro-swing scene. He has released several albums and singles, many of which topped the charts in Austria and Germany. “Catgroove”, “The Cure”, “Voodoo Night”, “Lucifer”, and “Beggin”, are some of his best-known songs, Stelar is also known for his energetic and fun live concerts that are real parties.
The first half was in charge of El Siciliano, who played his role perfectly, warming up the audience that arrived to see Parov Stelar at 10 pm.
