“Remar remar”, “Inferno”, “Circo de feras”, “Não sou o único”, “À minha maneira”, “Dia de S. Receber”, “Ai se ele cai”, “A Minha Casinha”, “Homem do leme” among many others, are moments of communion between the band and the fans, unique moments of singing to the full lungs and toasting with the band the music that has marked Portugal.
The Xutos & Pontapés are one of the most iconic and influential rock bands in Portugal, formed in Lisbon in late 1978. They are widely considered the most successful rock band in the country.
The Xutos & Pontapés music is categorised mainly as rock, but incorporates elements of hard rock, new wave and punk rock.

- Tim (António Manuel Lopes dos Santos): vocalist and bassist (founding member)
- João Cabeleira: Main guitarist (since 1983)
- Gui (Carlos Guilherme Custódio Nascimento): Saxophone and keyboards (with some interruptions, but a member since 1984)
- Kalú (Carlos Eduardo Cardoso Pinto Ferreira): drummer and support vocals (founding member)
We’re part of the band
- Zé Pedro (guitar, deceased in 2017)
- Zé Leonel (vocals, deceased in 2011).
Discography Highlights
- 78/82 (1982): The first album, which compiled its first works.
- Cerco (1985): An independent mini album that catapulted them for national recognition, with themes such as “Homem do Leme”.
- Circo de Feras (1987): One of his most acclaimed albums, with songs such as Contentores” and “Enquanto a Noite Cai”.
- 88 (1988): Another successful album, which includes “À Minha Maneira”..
- Dizer Não De Vez(1992): with the single “Chuva Dissolvente”
- Dados Viciados (1997)
- O Mundo ao Contrário (2004): with the popular single “Ai Se Ele Cai”.
- Duro (2019): The most recent album, which featured some posthumous recordings of Zé Pedro.
