Men Eater’s hiatus has come to an end. After releasing the eponymous album, Men Eater, in December 2023, the band will take the stage at Lux Frágil on January 25th, with the participation of the album’s three guests. André Henriques, Frankie Chavez and Sara Badalo will join the band on this long-awaited return.
In the twelve years that have passed since the Gold album, and six since the last concert they gave together, the members of Men Eater have not lost contact or the friendship that unites them. Each one followed their career, both inside and outside of music, and this maturation has now translated into a solid and intense album, which proves the band’s pertinence and longevity.
Men Eater is the fourth album by the band composed of Mike Ghost, Carlos B.B., Carlos Azeitona, Pedro Cobrado and, now, André Hencleeday, succeeding the renowned Hellston (2007), Vendaval (2009) and Gold (2011), which led them to play with bands such as Metallica, Mastodon, Torche, Pelican, Cult Of Luna, among others, and more than 44 concerts across Europe.
Men Eater was recorded at BlackSheep Studios and Santo Studio, by Bruno Xisto and Mike Ghost. It features Mike Ghost on guitar and vocals, Carlos B.B. on drums, Carlos Azeitona on guitar, Pedro Cobrado on bass and André Hencleeday on guitar and vocals. It was produced by Men Eater and Bruno Xisto, mixed by Bruno Xisto and mastered by Guilherme Gonçalves. With the Raging Planet seal, it is available on all digital platforms.
