Last night at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon, another solidarity concert in favor of the Novo Futuro Association took place, having been recorded for later transmission by RTP.
This year’s edition featured several national artists, including André Amaro and José Gonçalves, Maria Ana Bobone, Tomás Wallenstein, Rita Guerra, José Cid, Diogo Piçarra, and Jorge Palma.
This event once again enjoyed the High Sponsorship of the President of the Republic.
It was an intimate concert, with new musical arrangements, where the artists sang themes such as ‘O Teu Lugar’, ‘Por Orgulho’, ‘Desajeitado’, ‘Ar’, ‘Azar o Teu’, ‘Cantar Alentejano’, ‘Itamonte’, ‘Amor a Nossa Vida’, ‘Mesmo Assim’, ‘Tu e ‘Eu’, ‘Canta-me um Blues’
Maria Ana Bobone, Rita Guerra and Diogo Piçarra, and Jorge Palma, interpreted magnificent versions of ‘Canção do Mar’ and ‘Barco Negro’, by Amália Rodrigues, of ‘Your Song’, music by Elton John.
Magnificent was also the versions of ‘Por Quem Não Esqueci’, the theme of Sétima Legião, ‘O Poeta o Pintor e o Pianista’, ‘Fragil’ and ‘Estrela do Mar’, interpreted by Diogo Picarra, José Cid and Jorge Palma.
It was up to Jorge Palma to close a beautiful night of music, summarizing the thoughts of all those who stepped on the stage, he says that ‘he loves being on top of a stage, and if it’s for a noble, just cause, like this, it tastes even better’.
The night lacks only for the public’s non-adherence to this very special concert, which warns of helping children at risk. The Novo Futuro Association is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity that welcomes children and young people.
The Novo Futuro houses are for children and young people in vulnerable situations, and their houses are just ‘another house in the neighborhood’, without any distinction or difference from any other house.
Each House has personalized spaces for the tastes of each child and young person, taking into account their age, as this is the only way to create a feeling of respect and individuality for each one, as well as belonging, essential for a healthy emotional development.
At Casas Novo Futuro routines and rules are essential and each child is invited to participate in the routine, in the houses you can play, express feelings, can grow.
One of the main objectives of Casas Novo Futuro is the educational development of each child and young person, which is why they do everything to ensure that their different school stages are successful, from basic education to higher education, until they reach autonomy for a successful individual life succeeded.
Casas Novo Futuro because tomorrow a Novo Futuro arises. We will not turn our faces away from this project that has helped so many children and young people.
