Solidarity Concert celebrates World Mental Health Day

On World Mental Health Day, on October 10th, Artur Pizarro’s Solidarity Concert takes place in favor of human rights and mental health.

The event will take place in the Aula Magna and all proceeds will benefit the Association for Psychosocial Study and Integration (AEIPS), an institution that promotes the support and social integration of people with mental illness, in the areas of housing, education, and job.

On this day, when the objective is to combat prejudice and promote knowledge about mental health, the solidarity piano recital brings together the community around this cause, using music as a universal language.

With exclusive interpretations and masterpieces by legendary composers, Artur Pizarro brings magic to a night of classical melodies that celebrates human rights, and mental health, but also music for its immeasurable prestige. In addition to its ability to connect people, unite cultures, and break down barriers, it is also classified as a therapeutic tool capable of promoting emotional well-being. And just as music is for everyone, so should support and access to healthcare.

AEIPS’s mission is to promote the recovery and social integration of people facing challenges related to mental health. Join us in this Solidarity Concert and help ensure the right to independent housing, inclusive education, and integration into the labor market for people with mental illness.

Tickets for this Solidarity Concert are now available for sale at FNAC physical stores (Colombo, Chiado, Vasco da Gama, Cascais, Almada, Alfragide), as well as at the online ticket office. Its cost is 30 euros and all proceeds benefit the people supported by AEIPS.
