The Brazilian actress and singer Mel Lisboa will perform in Lisbon on 21 and 22 January, at the Teatro Maria Matos, with a concert that promises to celebrate the life and work of one of the greatest artists of Brazilian music: the iconic Rita Lee.
After the first two dates, it was opened this afternoon new presentation on the 22nd by 19h.
Mel Lisboa’s relationship with the legacy of Rita Lee began in 2014 when she took to the stage as the protagonist of the show “Rita Lee Mora ao Lado – O Musical”. The performance earned praise from the honoree herself, who declared: “Honey, you made me much better than myself”. Since then, Mel has been one of the main interpreters of the history and repertoire of that who was one of the greatest voices of Brazilian rock.
After ten years, Mel Lisboa continues to celebrate the life and music of the artist. In Brazil, the show “Rita Lee – A Musical Autobiography” has been a resounding success with successive sold-out performances, and also with critics. In parallel, Mel Lisboa has traveled the country with an exciting concert full of energy where she interprets several hits from the repertoire of Rita.
