The Maria Matos Theatre once again hosted “Conta-me Uma Canção” (“Tell Me a Song”), and the first night featured the stories and songs of Clã and Sérgio Godinho, an incredible evening with some of the best Portuguese songs.
The fourth edition of “Conta-me Uma Canção” will have three shows with duos responsible for some of the most acclaimed songs in Portuguese music. Yesterday featured Clã + Sérgio Godinho; February 9th, it will be Benjamim + Tozé Brito’s turn to take the stage at the Maria Matos Theatre; and it concludes on February 6th with Rui Reininho + Samuel Úria.
There were many stories we got to know at the show, about the songwriting process, the origins and comical moments of songs, rehearsals and performances, and memorable songs like “Cuidado com as imitações”, “Tudo no Amor”, “O rapaz da camisola verde”, “O sopro do coração” or “Espectáculo” were highlights of the night.
