After Benjamim and Samuel Úria, it was time for the concert “Conta-me Uma Canção” with Joana Espadinha and Mafalda Veiga, in a show that is more than a concert, it is a way of getting to know the artists better, their music and even their process creative.
“Conta-me Uma Canção” was first created as an audiovisual format, with recordings available on Youtube, in a challenge to eight national artists to expose their vision of what could be considered the most valuable asset of popular music, the Song.

Four meetings with duos formed by unavoidable names in national music, whether as composers or as performers, Benjamim and Samuel Úria, Joana Espadinha and Mafalda Veiga, Sérgio Godinho + A Garota Não and also David Fonseca + Rita Redshoes, who now at Maria Matos can get to know better and listen to his compositions that we all have in our memory.
Joana Espadinha and Mafalda Veiga, who, in the words of the singer-songwriters, are still getting to know each other, at the beginning of their friendship, interpreted their songs and crossed versions, sharing with the audience that filled the Lisbon room, their melodies and poems, some of them, which they confess they would have liked to have composed themselves.
