The “Quatro Concelhos Uma Identidade” project, through the video mapping ‘The Order‘, passes through the municipality of Óbidos, alongside Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha and Porto de Mós.
It is a show of light, sound and movement that consists of projecting 3D images on architectural surfaces with a historical character, creating impactful effects and animations. The images are based on the history of the Cistercian Monk and his importance in the identity of the various regions in relation to the historical richness and the common thread of the Alcobaça Monastery groves, which will be projected on monuments in these four municipalities.
The idea was born out of an application by producer Mário Ferreira, manager of ÓProduções, headquartered in A-dos-Negros, Óbidos, to the Ministry of Culture’s “Guarantee Culture” program, co-financed by Compete 2020 – Portugal 2020 – União European Union (ERDF).
“Quatro concelhos uma Identidade” will be presented in the municipality of Óbidos, more precisely at the Convento de São Miguel, in Gaeiras, on the 8th of September, at 9.30 pm.
Aljubarrota (Alcobaça) and Santa Catarina (Caldas da Rainha) have already received this projection. After Gaeiras, it ends on the 15th of September, at Paços do Concelho, in Porto de Mós.
The show complies with the security measures in force imposed by the DGS and is for people over 12 years old.
