The 18th edition of COOLJAZZ invades the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, for another COOL BY NATURE edition. Each night, three unique concerts in the magical setting of Manuel Possolo Hippodrome and Parque Marechal Carmona, in Cascais.
It starts at 8 pm with the Cascais Jazz Sessions By Smooth Fm, then follows the First Concert on the main stage and ends with the Great Concert on the main stage. You can consult all the festival schedules at cooljazz.pt.
For the 18th edition, the festival recommends ten accommodation options, with special conditions packages, with accommodation in one of the hotels + Festival Ticket. The Oitavos, Sheraton Cascais, Vila Galé Cascais, Estoril Vintage, Hotel Londres, Hotel Inglaterra, Clube do Lago, Hotel Baía, Grande Real Vila Itália, form the set of hotels recommended by COOLJAZZ, where the public can enjoy a unique experience: staying in one of these hotels in the municipality of Cascais and being able to attend the COOLJAZZ concerts from the 8th to the 29th of July.
The experience that COOLJAZZ provides starts long before the concerts. Cool Pick&Go at Parque Marechal Carmona has more than eight dining options, allowing the public to dine inside the venue and enjoy all the concerts. There is now a 50% offer of veggie options. All gastronomy companies must respect the festival’s sustainability rules manual, thus guaranteeing good environmental practices. Another measure that has been maintained since the last edition is the Zero Waste policy, where the surplus food produced by the festival is redistributed.
The festival continues to invest in the Carbon Free policy (carbon compensation, together with Sociedade Ponto Verde) and in changes to the venue in order to reduce the use of objects with a high environmental impact. COOLJAZZ thus implements in its 18th edition a sustainable policy based on the environmental, economic, and social components, in order to preserve the festival space, as well as to raise awareness among people and consumers towards more sustainable and ecological options.
