Cooperativa Agrícola de Moura e Barrancos has just launched a limited edition of Lote Selection, a blend of extra virgin olive oil that results from the first and best olives harvested in Moura and Barrancos in the 2020/2021 campaign.
In proof, the Lote Selection stands out for its fresh aromas of grass and green leaf, sweet notes and tones of dried fruits, such as almond, and a fine and elegant texture. At the end of the tasting, the slightly spicy sensation and the distinctive flavor of the freshest olives, harvested by the Cooperative’s 1300 olive-growing members, prevail.
To finish dishes without sauces and simple aromas, such as pasta and rice, or to enrich grilled dishes, Lote Selection is also ideal for tasting with fresh or toasted bread. The best way to preserve this oil is in a cool place and protected from light.
The Selection Lot of the Cooperativa Agrícola de Moura e Barrancos 2020/2021 will be available on the Continent, with a retail price of 7.99 euros.
